Belén García Burgos (Alicante, 2000) began her classical singing studies at the age of 15 with mezzo-soprano Concha Marcos de León. In 2019, she began her studies in Classical and Contemporary Music Performance, specialising in Voice, at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya), where she studied with soprano Enedina Lloris. In 2022, she was awarded the Anna Riera Excellence Scholarship and, the following year, graduated with honours.
She subsequently specialised in Lied performance, completing the official Victoria de los Ángeles Master’s Degree in Lied at ESMUC in 2024, under the guidance of Francisco Poyato, Assumpta Mateu and Josep Surinyac.
In 2026, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, where she further developed her expertise in Lied performance in the class of the renowned pianist Pauliina Tukiainen. She has also attended masterclasses with leading figures in the fields of singing and Lied, including Christoph Prégardien, Julian Prégardien, Felicity Lott, Christiane Karg, Roger Vignoles, Sholto Kynoch and Wolfram Rieger.
She has performed numerous recitals at prestigious festivals and venues, including the Oxford Song International Festival, the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Palacio Real de Madrid and the LIFE Victoria Festival. More recently, she has also appeared at the Schumannfest in Bonn, Liedstadt Salzburg and the HerHits Kammermusikfestival* in Hannover and Stuttgart.
She has been associated with the musical network of Juventudes Musicales de España through several recitals in Madrid and Menorca, as well as through her selection as a finalist in the 106th edition of its singing competition. She was also awarded a scholarship to participate in Lied the Future, a talent development programme initiated by the Asociación Franz Schubert, where she gave her recital debut at the Schubertiada de Vilabertran festival. In 2026, she was also awarded a scholarship from the Richard Wagner Stipendienstiftung and by the International Society of Mozarteum University Salzburg, receiving the Ensemblestipendium 2026. She was also a prizewinner at the International Summer Academy 2026 of the Mozarteum.
