Biography

Belén García Burgos (Alicante, 2000) began her classical vocal studies at the age of 15 with mezzo-soprano Concha Marcos de León. In 2019, she started her Bachelor's Degree in Classical and Contemporary Music Performance, specializing in voice, at ESMUC (Catalonia College of Music), where she studied with soprano Enedina Lloris. In 2022, she was awarded the “Anna Riera” Excellence Scholarship, and the following year she graduated with honors.

She later specialized in Lied performance by completing the official “Victoria de los Ángeles” Master’s Degree in Lied at ESMUC in 2024, under the guidance of Francisco Poyato, Assumpta Mateu, and Josep Surinyac.

She is currently continuing her studies in Lied at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, with the renowned pianist Pauliina Tukiainen. She has also attended masterclasses with distinguished singers and Lied specialists including Christoph Prégardien, Julian Prégardien, Felicity Lott, Christiane Karg, Roger Vignoles, Sholto Kynoch, and Wolfram Rieger.

She has performed numerous recitals at prestigious festivals and concert venues, including the Oxford International Song Festival, the Palau de la Música Catalana, and the LIFE Victoria Festival. More recently, she has appeared at the Schumann Bonnerfest, Liedstadt Salzburg, and the Her*Hits Kammermusikfestival in Hanover and Stuttgart.

She has maintained a close relationship with the musical network of Juventudes Musicales de España through several recitals in Madrid and Menorca, and by being selected as a finalist in the 106th edition of its singing competition. In addition, she was awarded a scholarship to participate in Lied the Future, a talent development programme organized by the Franz Schubert Association, where she gave her debut recital at the Schubertiada de Vilabertran festival. In 2026, she was also awarded the Ensemblestipendium 2026 by the International Society of Mozarteum University Salzburg, as well as a scholarship from Club Wagner Barcelona.
